Hi All,

I've installed my SX694 with SX Fwheel and X2 on new laptop Win10. After sorting everything out with SX guys - ( they are the best customer service ever!!!:)), i am still stuck and i am not sure why but my camera wont take a picture. Other camera plug and play - no problems. Am I out of focus? - through the eyepiece is fine: pointing at the line of trees 1/2 miles away. Binning 1x1, exposure 0..01., device manager is picking up both cans (SX software is all good).

Yes, you will be way out of focus, as the focus point for an eyepiece and that for a camera are very different....

As an interim step, forget SGPro, and instead use another application to connect to the camera e.g. Sharpcap & then use that to 'rough' focus the camera.

Turn the auto stretch off.

Take a very, very short exposure in daylight start at the 0.001 and work up, you may even have to mask the scope down.

I've run just my camera and old good lens :) and is fine. Now i am thinking that maybe is the ASCOM but you are let me try focus...

Thank you for that,

Many small things.... I didn't install a extension ring from moorlight  -focuser very loose on the connection to the tube - loosen up, very close focus - and yes SGP took long time to figure out, zoom out. Silly me.
