Starry, starry night

Woo hoo!

The stars at night are big and bright - deep in the heart of the West Midlands!

Clear skies over Dudley - a miracle!

I was out with binoculars and telescope, despite sub-zero temperatures - for 3 hours.

Am infront of fire now, wrapped in a blanket, trying to rub some life back into my bits.

But it was worth every minute of it.

Pleiades were enough to make a grown woman weep. (I didn't, though, 'cause I thought I might stick to the eye piece).

Huzzar!

Hope everyone else gets some good seeing too.
