DSS problems - no colour???

Hi All

I've just started using Deep Sky Stacker 3.2.2 on some M42 RAW subs from my 1000D but it keeps identifying the files as Gray 16bit, not RGB, and the output image it produces has no colour. I've tried fiddling with it in PS but the best I can do is below (4 x 30s + darks). Does anyone know if DSS is working correctly or is there a setting I can change to tell it the images are colour?

The colours in there the saturation needs boosting... i noticed this problem the other day as well

with subs from my 1000D...

Yeah I always boost the saturation after DSS, usually one or 2 goes at 20% boost.

[Beyond_Vision]

I usually set the saturation to around 17-18 for most pictures.
