Starlink pass - 21st April 2020

I managed to get one decent shot out of my attempts tonight. I put my phone on a short tripod and aimed it as best I could, using the standard iPhone app in night mode to take a 30s exposure. A bit of tweaking in the normal editor then noise reduction in PS Express and there we have it.

The contrail lit by the sun adds a nice bit of drama; I cropped the busiest part as it looked more dramatic still.

I can see a whole imaging challenge based on starlink! 😀

The color of the contrail does add to the image.

I find clouds and other oddities aren't always a bad thing.
