I have seen my own shadow on the wall of my observatory as Venus rose early one morning. Never quite believed it until then.

I saw Venus casting shadows in Icmeler, Turkey last October. I've never seen her so bright with the naked eye and the light was far more intense than moon glow.

Great place!!

Along the promenade In the last bar furthest away from Marmaris, (can't remember the name of the bar) but the bar staff climbed up and danced on the roof, and all along the promenade at 12.00 pm onwards on the hour.

It was quite a spectacle!!
