Morning,

I came across a post about a rolling dolly for a telescope and thought it was a great idea! Is it? How easy is it to make or even better where can I purchase one at a reasonable cost?

I used to have a 8" Newtonian mounted on an EQ-5.  Given the size and top weight I think you would be better advised to move (carry) the OTA and mount separately.  The two sections will also store in much less space.

I built one from some wood I already had and bought the wheels (2 with brakes) off eBay. I wouldn’t be without it.
