Stacking Focal Reducers? cpc800

Hi all, 

 

I just stacked 2 focal reducers to, f6.3 +  f3.3 on my cpc800, i have attached a photo on the moon below, do you think that this would work for DSO imaging or will this cause to many issues. 

I believe the combined is f2? but i really dont know

I can only hazard a guess that this will cause severely distorted stars.

Your 8" SCT with just the F6.3 reducer should capture the moon nicely with an APS-C DSLR like yours.

For DSO's such as galaxies you'll need the full F10, but F6.3 will be easier to guide:
