Asteroid (52768) 1998 OR2

I can't see this being raised elsewhere and it might be of interest to asteroid hunters:

Maybe not the most exciting fly-by and at closest approach it's low in the sky as darkness falls from the UK (from my brief investigations with SkySafari) but non the less, a fast moving asteroid to track in the run up.

Imaged it 2 nights ago, it is at mag 13, and that thing is FLYING.

It was in LEO so due south and for me, just obtainable before midnight, before my house gets in the way.

Excellent animation.

I started this thread then forgot. I was collecting photons in Leo myself on the 16th. Never thought about this up coming encounter. Still time before closest approach to get a look, probably best about now before it gets lost to twilight and low elevation.

Yes excellent animation.

Seeing what this asteriod looks like here makes me remember a series of wide field I did for meteors.

I captured an object moving through many 10 sec images. I'll have to look for them again. I have them saved.

Has anyone looked at comet ATLAS in  STELLARIUM on  5-31-2020? I cannot find  Asteroid (52768) 1998 OR2 over there, and I am not an astonomer. But comet atlas is showing one heck of a large appearance in that software and I'm not sure how accurate that prediction is.
