On the C80 @ 600mm, mounted on my Manfrotto porta pod. The clamshell has a problem, and I'll need to get onto Steve @FLO tomorrow.

no CA on there, it's a lovely scope and much easier to focus than the Konus. I have to say though, this clearly shows just how good the 55-250/450d combo really is...

Thanks all. Gary, I think it's the same thing that (was it Beamish) someone else mentioned, only one clip of the clamshell closes properly. The other doesn't clip shut. The Clamshell held the scope fine, for looking at the moon low down, but I'm not sure I'd want to trust it as you get higher up.
