Halloween Lunar and Jupiter conjunction

Recommended Posts

Caught these two together, only 0.5 degrees apart, whilst on holiday on Rhodes, 31st October 2019. Lovely viewing through the 72mm TS, with some detail visible on Jupiter even at lower powers. These are two snaps with the S9 using an Orion Steadypix EZ adaptor on a 7.2mm to 21.5mm Zoom. Ganymede was the only moon visible due to the glare I guess, caught in the over exposed version to catch the lovely earthshine. I've reversed these so they are correct view now.
