12nm Ha clip in for DSLR

Hi,

Is it worth me getting the Ha 12nm clip in filter for my modded 600D ? I'll just be using Canon lenses on my Lightrack for more wider images, 135mm or 200mm etc. Or am I just wasting my money ?

I'll be getting another mono cooled camera soon and will use 7nm in this but this will used on a GoTo with a much narrower FOV. The 12nm will purely be for the wider stuff with the dslr.

I'd say yes. I took this with a 600D in August last year. You can just split the red channel after stacking but for this is I split the red channel prior to stacking.

Some of the Ha objects are very large, this image of Sh2-240 taken with a 200 mm lens on Canon 700d (astro modded) and the Astronomik Ha 12nm CCD EOS filter:
