Iris nebula

hi!

This is my third image ever, what are your thoughts?

the color in the nebula is very low, I tried to enhance it but I couldnt do much..

ISO 1600

Exposure 70 sec

lights 70

darks 35

flats 35

bias 35

no guiding

Oh cool,.. I tried to stretch it (levels) but the background became too bright for me..

Can you add the stars again after all the stretching?

Yes its possible to add stars back in.  Its best though to start from the original raw image from the stacking process.  Starting with a jpg loses lots of info.

If you post the original I will give it another go.

 

I can send it to you on Wednesday when I'm at home :)
