Skywatchers AZ Goto mount ASCOM issue

Hi,

I am using this old AZ Goto mount for my Mak127 planetary viewing. Wanted to control it with APT app, which can control via ASCOM platform, but ASCOM drivers have one issue - the mount doesn't react to North/South movements. It slews well on Azimuth, but as soon Alt axis is touched, the whole thing goes bananas and stops responding to any commands. Diagnostics work well. On the same note - Stellarium works flawlessly, but via direct connection, not ASCOM.

Any ideas welcome, as I would really love to control all hardware with just one single application... Thanks!

It could be a power issue. What do you use to power the mount ? Which version number of the SW ASCOM mount driver do you use ? Which handset firmware version ?

Powered by the adapter provided with the mount. handset firmware 3.39.05, ascom SW driver 6.0.6262, Ascom platform v6.4. Never really had an issue when using handset or Stellarium control, only APT via Ascom.
