Atik filter wheel problem

Hi

I have an Atik aw2 filter wheel which I use with Atik 314l camera on a triplet refractor.

 I have used this set up with capture software for over 2 years with no problem.

last night I could not record any images the sequence menu told me the filter was in the wrong position.

 I could hear the filter wheel moving so there appears to be connected.

Has anyone had similar issues with their filter wheel I would appreciate any help

I have the same filter wheel and never had a problem with. Suggest you take the cover off and make the motor spindle is in contact with the rubber edge on the filter carrier.

Another thought are the position sensing holes clear of dust and dirt?

Try plugging just the EFW into your laptop and watch what's happening when you change filters in your capturing program.
