Sharp Cap 3.1 will not recognize my QHY 8 camera

Hello, I'm new to this forum but not to the hobby. I've been using my QHY 8 with Astrophotography Tool and  Nebulosity 4 with no issue. Using Ascom drivers. I've downloaded Sharp Cap 3.1 and when I try to connect my camera (which the software see's my camera using the ascom driver.) I get a error telling me the camera may not work as well with the ascom drivers and wants me to use the native drivers (downloaded from QHY) . However, SharpCap does not see my "native" QHY 8 and will not connect. Am I doing something wrong? What am I missing any clues will help. Thank you for taking the time to read my thread. Myke

I have had this issue over the last few days with Sharpcap (3.2 in my case).
I am not sure if there was changes to the SDK for the native driver and indeed also the ascom driver.

I have since found that 3.2.6020 works, this version finds and loads the native driver as far as I can see at present. It will not however load the ascom driver and crashes.
Anything newer than this will not recognise the QHY native driver nor will it load the ascom driver (I had issues finding them)
Can you get the ascom driver loaded on yours?

Thank you, I do have both drivers installed, Sharp Cap does not see the native driver. Does Sharp Cap have a driver folder it should be loaded in? Mike

I had to have a prerequisite installed too, but think that was more to do with my skyris rather than my polemaster

As suggested join the sharpcap forum, if you can't find an answer then drop Robin a email, he's really helpful
