Milkyway at Southerndown Beach - South Wales

That's a beauty Lenny. I like the use of the foreground and the fact you managed to find a view with little in the way of light pollution.

Can I suggest you enter it into one of the challenges ? If it's bang on 30 seconds then into the .... 30 seconds challenge, or if it isn't then into the DSLR challenge.

I must add...  I love the composition of that photo.  The red lit rocks in the foreground balance the Milky Way and the sky beautifully.  Certainly a cracking photograph!  Well done.

Lovely that!  I'm trying to work out why the rocks are red. What are they lit by?

Thanks, other Astrophotographers making their way to the beach and inadvertently flashed the rocks with head torches. I had other versions but preferred it with the red left in

I see! A bit of a red light district then.  I'll rephrase that ..... 😉
