M16 in 36 minutes

Here is a very short first light with my QHY183M and Astronomik filters i picked up yesterday. My original plan was M16 in Ha for as long as the clouds stayed away but when framing i noticed i could make it out in 5 second exposures, so i decided to shoot 30 seconds in ha, o111 and s11 for the 30 second unguided challenge which can be found here. 

I also shot 7 subs of 300 seconds to see how well this camera performs and added it to the "colour" version in the linked thread.

Well done! I know you saw my M16. Your stars are definitely tighter than mine. I think shorter exposures and more of them may be the ticket for me as well.

That is rather nice.  Lovely soft hue and bright where all the interest is.    Good job.

The ha filter really helps to keep stars tight. Thanks.

Thanks. More data is definitely going to collected when and if I can.
