Is there any other software apart for PI that I can use to annotate images ?

I don't use this feature, but AstroArt can annotate images......

upload the image to http://nova.astrometry.net/upload and this will come back with solved coordinates and an annotated image.

I've used AstroArt for over ten years - to control all my cameras, image acquisition and pre processing (darks flats, stacking etc), it also does guiding, plate solving and has some good image processing capabilities.

I recommend it.
