One year (and a bit) on

Just over a year ago, I posted a snapshot of our membership and I thought it would be interesting to rerun the numbers. I've got the full figures if anyone is interested, but comparing percentages reveals an almost identical profile, despite our total numbers having grown 5.726% (from 57633 to 60933). The percentages (last year's figure in brackets) are:

zero posts    56.245% (56.482%)
1-9 posts    26.314% (25.852%)
[<10 posts    82.560% (82.333%)]

10-99 posts    12.187% (12.337%)
100-499 posts     3.492%    ( 3.547%)
500-999 posts     0.761%    ( 0.791%)

1000-4999 posts     0.809% ( 0.807%)
>4999 posts     0.190% ( 0.186%)
[>999 posts     0.999% ( 0.992%)]

Woo... not many (if any) other places where I fit into the top 0.186%!!!

Interesting. As it was last year. I guess it's probably true of a lot of forums that <20% of members are regular posters. 

Well done for doing it. How did you actually do this without laboriously trudging through every member's  numbers on the members page?

If you do a search of members you can sort them by post count. For the greater percentages, just remember there are 24 members per page and the pages are numbered.

That was last year. Now it's only the top 0.190%.
