I was surprised how well it turned out with so few subs, and also how bright it was in OIII, given the sky conditions at the time 

Well worth having a go at, it's been on my to-do list for years.

Thanks.  It's pretty much how it dropped out of Astroart in auto RGB combine second time around.  My first effort did look a lot more like the ones you see on the web but I thought it was a bit garish, so I went with this more colour-neutral one.  There are a few shots of this object on the web (e.g. this one) that seems to have a similar colour selection.
