SAO 14809, 25" separation , +7.8, +7.3. Lynx 37 SAO 27215, 5.6" sep., a wide triple , also classed under UMa. 23 UMa , 23" sep. another wide triple, third element at 100" and +10.5. Σ 1495, SAO 27861, 33.4" sep. +7.1 and 8.8. Alpha UMa, Dubhe. SAO 15384, a quadruple system with a pleasing wide companion. Half again further than the rest of the Plough and receding from the other dipper stars. h2554, 40" sep.,at 11h03.7m. +44 20', yellow with a blue companion. Xi (53 UMa) Alula Australis. At 11h18.3m. +31 32'. 2.1" sep. , a great tester . v (Nu) UMa Alula Borealis. At 11h18.5m. +33 06'. 7.8" sep., Orange and blue. 57 UMa SAO 62572. 5.5" sep. White and blue here. Σ 1559. SAO 15580. 2.0" sep. 65 UMa. SAO 43945, a colourful triple , the third element is 3.9" from the companion. Σ 1600. SAO 28241, sep.7.8" Zeta (ξ) UMa. Mizar and Alcor. An optical pairing . The brighter Mizar has a binary companion at 14.3" separation. Σ 1770 (SAO 28819) , 1.7" sep., a ghostly delicate companion. Σ 1795 At 13h58.9m. +53 06'. Σ 1832 At 14h16.1m. +56 43', a lovely triple.
