Will I be able to see Comet 46P in mid January?

Hi there, I will be travelling down to the Sahara mid January and wondered if I would be able to image 46P still?

I have looked up the trajectory and it seems to get higher in the sky but was not sure of its magnitude by that time and if possible to still capture?

I think it should still be around, but it should start fading shortly, I gather

According to Stellarium it will be in Ursa Major but down to Magnitude 11.4 so not naked-eye visible (if that prediction turns out to be correct).

If it keeps to this graph, you'd still be able to see it. For now, it has been acting as planned. It would be around mag 8, but since it is very diffuse, you'd need the right tools/skies. 

The Sahara would give you the latter without problem

Hopefully Bortle 1 Sky so other than a Sand Storm, should be good
