a Geminid

I haven't yet searched the satellite database (lost the link) but I wonder did I catch a lone Geminid I think the direction is OK.

Wednesday 12/12 evening 7:46 pm. Clouds and a lot of low down murk light pollution. Plenty frames with cloud and planes but this doesn't appear to have the give away lights and the direction is wrong for the flight path I am under. Straight jpeg, I might try processing it with flats and dark flats just to see if can pull a better background. 1100d and 40mm pancake f4 ISO 800 30 seconds.

Looks good to me. The fade in, fade out makes me think it's a Geminid. Well done

Thank you. I think I might be being hopeful as the direction might be stretching it for Geminids, this is the plate solve rotated to fit the sky orientation.

Does the first image show Comet 46P/Wirtanen just below two stars at mid height on left?

Yes the comet is there.

This is the light dome, a single image from Thursday also with similar streak but at 7:26 pm. Processed with flats and dark flats then StarTools. Very noisy. I think I will have to use either the 85mm or 200mm lens. Now if only I had finished colimating the C70.
