Ccd lrgb filters

Hi guys,just toying with getting a new set of filters ie baader,astronomik etc and have read that they're mainly ir blocked..do some targets need be imaged in ir?

I think that you need to provide a bit more info. What are you going to be imaging with?

Sorry Peter should of expanded abit more,it's for deep sky mainly nebulae,  a few galaxies here and there..

At the moment im using a William optics ZS80D with a old atik 16hr

I don't know that camera but I would not think that you would want to block IR unless you do some planetary imaging.

Yes only planetary uses IR >700nm , personally I like the baader set (not the beginner ones though).
