Synscan wifi adapter

The hand controller for my Skywatcher Synscan AZ goto mount has stopped working. I was wondering if it would be better to get a wifi adapter and run my mount using my smart phone (galaxy samsung s7 edge).

I am fortunate I use both I have a Galaxy S7 and the WiFi dongle works fine signal drops every now and again just reconnect and off you go again I use sky safari 5 Pro with it.

I have this exact combo and it works really well - far easier than the handset.

I am hoping to get a wi-fi adapter within the next 2 weeks then I can carry on with my stargazing. The adapter sounds a lot less hassle and cheaper than a hand unit.
