M15 against the odds

Well, last night eh?

I had pretty dismal seeing so at some points the guide star almost disappeared, plus I had to rebalance the scope.

A couple of weeks ago one of the dropper resistors (3 in parallel) 'dropped' off  my cooled camera, reducing the current of the sensor cover heater. Things were fine with eth coma corrector fitted but last night and the 150PL the sensor was exposed and later when it got dewy - the sensor froze over with obvious results!

Still I managed to get this.

Great to see such small stars on a cluster. Focus and guiding must have been spot on!

Guiding was OK, the 150PL is easy to focus because it is so long. Problem was mist blurred the stars a bit, but a touch of deconvolution fairydust fixed them ?
