Pelican Nebula - Narrowband - Bi-Colour

Droogie 2001

Recommended Posts

Despite the recent good weather we are experiencing in the UK I have not had many opportunities to go out imaging.

As the Pelican Nebula is well placed I thought I would give it a go, would be nice to get more subs.

Decided on an RGB blend.

Scope: William Optics Star 71
Mount: Celestron AVX
Camera: Moravian G2-8300 – Mono
Filter: Chroma Ha 3nm, OIII 3nm
7x1800s exposures (3.5 hours) at -25c
3x1800s exposures (1.5hours) at -25c

Total 5 hours.
