I don't do these very often and when I do them they usually leave me frustrated with NR's and uneven illumination, either that or like last weekend when I just cannot get anything from data set at all other than bits. Today though I have manged to get a half-decent result and the process I used to get it may just be repeatable! Turning down the gamma, reducing the ROI and increasing the number of panes to 9 (from the usual 6) seems to help. No flats taken either as flats seem to make the NR's worse based on recent experience, although I will try flats again next time to see if they clean up the disks some. It's still not perfect but it's a step in the right direction...I hope!
