Just stumbled across this video on the dutch astro forum. Astro images are so much more than just pretty pictures of hot gases. There's also a lot of very cool physics going on. (Yes, the pun was intended.)

Thanks for posting, very interesting + well presented. 

I agree, with the right presenter, this is really brings the object to life.  I see there's a whole series on the website - what a find - which are hopefully as good & I will now take a look at.

Have been watching these videos for a few years. Try and find the videos when they goto the VLT in Chile. Amazing location .

Very cool--I suppose now I have to hit the center of the lagoon with the C11Edge at 2800mm to capture the tornadoes.
