Binocular Sky Newsletter, July 2018

Recommended Posts

The July  edition of the Binocular Sky Newsletter is ready for download. In addition to the usual overview of DSOs, variable and double stars, highlights this month include:

* Two grazing lunar occultations for southern England
* Vesta is bright, but fading (grab this opportunity if you've not yet seen an asteroid!)
* Uranus and Neptune becoming much easier
* A couple of Mira variables near maximum

Their near-zero setup time makes binoculars an ideal choice to exploit these short summer nights, so grab yours  and use this guide to enjoy, and share with others, what the night sky freely offers us this month.

To get your (free!) copy, or to subscribe (also free) and receive it monthly, please go to http://binocularsky.com and click on the 'Newsletter' tab.
