Saturn Approaching Opposition!

I spent some quality time with Saturn on the night/morning of the 22/23rd, taking advantage of the great transparency and good seeing. Through my 6mm Orion Expanse EP, the rings and cloud bands were stunning. I shot this with my 180mm Mak using the Orion Deep Space Video Cam II and Orion 2x Shorty Barlow: Here is one of my images which I think is my new personal best:

Onward To the Opposition!

Nice one Reggie - views and images of Saturn here for the last few nights has been affected by the poor seeing we have at 52 degrees N!

Do you use RGB align in your processing as I notice you have a little bit of AD?

Thanks, Chris. I didn't use RGB align. I'm still learning Registax 6. Should I have used it?
