Have I hit 'Peak Jupiter'?

Last night the combination of seeing and transparency was incredible.

The quality of the live view images of Jupiter was remarkable, using my 150PL with ASI 120MC, x3 barlow and an IR/UV cut filter.

This is the first quick and dirty process of the first run. Contrast is a bit gentle as I went for lower gain than usual to get low noise as it was clear there was a lot of detail to catch. I have high hopes for what can be done when I get  the right formula for the subs and put them through WinJupos:

I was just observing last night, mostly moon and Jupiter and some very clear views.

Did you catch Saturn later in the evening? I had to wait till about 1:00am for it to get above the trees but it was my first view of Saturn and wow it was clear.

Lovely images.  Smooth processing on the first image, and loads of detail in the second one.   Nice Saturn too. ?
