Planet Filters advice

Hi all,

Is the IR-cut Neobdynum filter good to use as an IR filter for planet photography please?  Or should it just be a vanilla IR ??   I have one of these filters that someone threw in to sweeten a deal I did a few years ago and has been in my bits box since then untouched as one of those things that will "come in handy one day".  I could now use it if it would be good to use in this scenario.

Another question is that can I redeploy my Baader RGB filters that I am using for deep sky (to be replaced with Astrodons :) ) as filters for planetary?  I discussed this last week and I think the answer is yes but just checking woth the SGL oracle fist ;)

Thanks, Steve
