Clear tonight

Ive set up early tonight in anticipation of a clear night ( promised by the BBC ) This is the FSQ on the losmandy with my new observing scope in the background,Not had much chance to play with it but fingers crossed for tonight. while the Tak is being autoguided I hope to be viewing .

Hello Phil, I was was in my scratcher by 01:30 giving it big Zs. Had a great evening, set the scope off on a 2 hour imaging run which left me time to do some observing. Once I have the images sorted will post these plus the objects I viewed.

Because I'm just getting over a heavy cold I couldn't risk going out, so just managed to watch this month's "Sky at Night" prog.

I could see it was clear outside though - and envied all those who were out observing.
