Hi everyone. Focusing the imaging camera on Mirfak is good for checking OAG focus because there are loadsa stars around it. Waiting for m78 to get higher, I thought I'd have a go at this. It came out quite well for a time filler but I wonder why it has a flat top? Thanks for looking.

Yeah, forgot about that. OTOH, it doesn't appear on the star test. Dunno. Does this look like enough intrusion? TIA.

Um, not sure. I'm out of touch with newtonian scopes... Maybe try again on another bright star?
