Getting Started

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Finally got a chance to get out this evening with my scope (Celestron CPC 800) but i've a few basic questions:

- I bought a ZWO ASI 290MC camera to do some basic pictures but it doesn't fit onto the diagonal with the T adaptor. The diagonal is a Celestron Star diagonal -1 1/4" which is connected to the scope with a Celestron Visual Back - 1 1/4". Does anyone know exactly what i need to buy to get it the camera connected? I know the T Adaptor is 1 1/2" but i don't want to go buy the wrong things.

- Does anyone have any tips  in setting up one of these cameras? What's good to start viewing/taking pictures off since the planets are not about?

Thanks
