EQ3 PRO Synscan wireless options?

Hi all

I'm just contemplating getting an eq3 pro and I'm wondering if there are any wireless/bluetooth options for pc/eqmod interfacing? I'll probably use it in standalone mode initially but it would be nice to have a cable-free eqmod interface option in the future, if that's possible.

I see FLO do a Synscan Wi-Fi adapter - anyone used it? Wonder what range it has and what you need at a PC or laptop end?

Thanks! I just watched some of this also 

However, the technology seems a bit 'immature' at the moment and seems to be only supported by Android. I wouldn't want to attempt to control a mount via a Smartphone... Maybe things will improve in the future...

it is early days with the adapter, but hopefully any teething problems will soon be sorted the more it is used,

It seems to be in direct competition with the more expensive Sky-Fi - interesting!

i have the Sky-Fi Wifi ii, although i have yet to try it out, i plan on using it with my EQ6 Pro (eventually) in tandem with Sky Safari 5+,

all my kit (except my EQ3-2) is currently in storage while my obsey is under construction, which is currently on hold due to the abysmal weather
