Can anyone recommend any good 2 inch eyepieces?

What sort of scope do you want to use the 2" eyepieces in ? - it will make a difference to which are recommended. Also do you have a budget range ?.

Its a Skywatcher Evostar 100ED PRO 2. Price range would be from £50 - £150.

In an F/9 scope you have quite a lot of choice in 2 inch eyepiece as most will work well.

For an ultra-wide field of view you could try something like the Moonfish 30mm UWA which has an 80 degree FoV. Another one worth looking at would be the new Skywatcher 38mm Panaview which gives an 70 degree FoV. Both are well under £100.

I've assumed that you are looking for wide angle, low poaer eyepiece in these recommendations.

In the 2" size the ED 2x barlows that are offered by a number of suppliers seem to be well thought of. In 1.25 inch size there is more choice but the Celestron Ultima 2x is hard to beat IMHO.

I'm hardly qualified to comment scientifically byt the 38mm Panaview gave some good views to me. Its a real 'pool of stars' EP and its feel and finish is very good.
