To give you guys an idea what we are dealing with here in Holland weatherwise, I send you this link so you are prepared before you even think of visiting our wet country.

Reminds me of the weather in Ireland, which I was warned about with the description "We have two seasons. There's the wet season, when it rains all the time, and the dry season, when it doesn't rain all the time"

Weather was similar to here when I worked in Alkmaar = wet but mildish. Hengelo was drier but it got cold over there, very cold. I was there when they had the ice race around a number of towns for the first time in several years, all previous had been too warm.
