Venus & Jupiter close conjunction.

Recommended Posts

Very cold this morning with the wind chill factor. I thought the planets looked very different as they made they way up through the murky horizon, I was very surprised to see them change so much when they were first visible.

A single wide field view and a slightly "closer" view inset. Canon 450 & 18-55m lens.

Great shot

Unfortunately civil dawn is 04:49, sunrise 05:13 where I am, and on a train between Goldcoast and Brisbane heading to work for a 6am start, and not able to observe, as both Venus and Jupiter still below the eastern horizon that hour of the morning
