Hello Astro Guys & Gals...

For those who use CGEM eq mounts and missed the functionality of PEC in version 6.50 of the MC firmware that fixed the DEC motor cogging issue, I have good news...

I have contacted Celestron asking about a fix and this was their reply:

===========================

Thank you for contacting Celestron.

The latest version is 6.50 and there is no new update. Our firmware engineer is currently working on an update and it might be ready by this Friday.

So keep an eye out for the update, hopefully will be available soon...

Clear Skies

Have you tried Team Celestron site, they have beta firmware, worth a look ?

Edit, just looked, there is a 6.51 ...

You have to register to see betas but it's free,

Don't forget... They are beta so you are testing for Celestron !

Good luck.
