Help me decide on DSLR

I've bought a Canon EOS 450D for £430 (inc 18-55mm lens). What should I do?

    • No mate, you want to take it back and buy the 1000D, it's £30 cheaper

    • You might as well stick with it

I've got the 450d and its been excellent for me so far. I use bright stars for focus and they show up nicely live at 10x zoom on the LCD :D had a go on friday night at M45, the whole lot showing up on liveview too, very nice indeed, very happy with my results so far.

Hang onto it, you'll not be disappointed.

I've been a Canon fan/user for the best part of 40 years, and they have never failed to please.

DSLR wise, I had a 300D, and that was damn good. I now have the 30D which is even better, but you wouldn't want to hang it the back of a scope, as its a heavy beast.
