2017 Eclipse from Eastern Nebraska

Hi got back fro Nebraska a couple of days ago .... just managed to complete a montage of the eclipse from C1 to just after C2.

I am pleased with results despite having to fight off some high clouds and lugging 10kg of equipment with me all the way from the UK !!!

Used my Canon 5D MkIII + 100mm-400mm zoom lens + 1.4x converter along with homemade solar filter plus wedge and a Fornax Light Rack II.

My sequenced bracketed shots, during totality, were controlled by a "Promote Control" unit (a fantastic bit of kit for this job) ... which gave me 11 bracketed shots from 1/2000th sec to 1/4 sec automatically ... and effortless while I watched the event with my eyes :-))

Very well captured and nicely presented! Sounds like a great way of capturing and viewing the event, much better than having to try and do both at the same time.
