Hi all, These Skyshed 8 Piers look very good, but I wonder if they are tall enough for a Frac or an SCT. Maybe you use a very low chair ? If anyone out there owns one, comments would be appreciated....Dave

I have one, and also use a frac and SCT upon it.  I think the answer to your question though can be sought in your complete set up.  I worked out the geometry to use such set ups before I poured the plinth and so got the height about right.  That said I subsequently changed my mount to an AZ EQ6 GT.  In Alt Az mode I find the addition of the EQ6 extension helps for visual sessions.

Thanks for your comments Chris. I plan to put my NEQ6 on one of these piers. I could raise the height of the concrete plinth 150 cm and that should solve it. Nice pic , by the way, I like the Lunt. Amazing what they reveal...............Dave
