Jupiter and the moon crisp at 255x

Recommended Posts

This night the seeing was amazing!
Looking at Jupiter with the 10 inch dob was stunning. I started with my 8.8mm explore scientific 82 degree to see what the conditions allowed, and quickly went over to the 4.7mm. Jupiter looked better than ever before, and watching Io sneak behind the gas giant was an awesome experience.

Looking at the moon, I could see craters with a diameter down to 3km, which was and still is kind of unrealistic for me, but other than that the moon looked stunning.

Clear skies!
