Another Jupiter with 150 Mak from 22/4/17

Its seems like a few people took advantage of the slightly better seeing over the weekend.  Heres my effort taken with QHY5l-ii-c, 150mak with crayford focuser on eq5 pro, flip mirror and ADC in the chain so focal length was nearer 2100mm rather than the native 1800mm.   The seeing may have allowed a small barlow but still getting used to the ADC and I did not want to over complicate things but pleased with the results so far .

Have a load more videos to trawl through so may have a slight improvement on this.  This is best 2000 of 3500 frames at 44fps using Firecapture @ 640x480, processed with PIPP, AS!3, Registax 6 and PS.  The second image has been resized and an extra small sharpen, may have overdone it.

Very nice! Looks like The ADC is working well for you . Think I prefer the second image.

Yep I agree, second image for me as well.    That's good detail from the the Mak.  My 8"  SCT does not achieve this.  Not going to stick a  barlow or Powermate on the rig ??

Thanks for the comments. Yes the ADC is proving worthwhile, the Firecapture ADC aid is very good and makes life much easier. I will try a barlow next time we have some good stable seeing. #

Very nice shots. The second one for me too. I haven't used FireCapture's ADC tool yet. Must give it a go
