Astronomy Books

Hi,

Just wondering if there are any books that give the Right Ascension and Declination coordinates to be used with an equatorial mount. One such example is Turn Left at Orion - does that have them?

Ive got Stellarium but i don't like taking my new laptop outside.

Any advice much appreciated. Cheers!

I don't think Orion has them. Wil Tirions star atlas does, its not as newcomer friendly as Orion but is a lot more comprehensive.

And the Cambridge star Atlas has them as well, but they can be confusing to beginners!

Probably best to use the laptop and make a note of the ones your interested in.

Yeah Probs but looked on Amazon in the search inside option and it didn't look too bad maybe ill look into further.

Sky Atlas 2000.0 companion lists ALOT. 2nd edition by the way.

Thanks for all your replies but decided to buy the Philips Astrobox which turns out to be a great find.

Illustrated guide to Astronomical Wonders also gives the co-oridinates I believe.
