Startrails at a dark site

Finally got to my sisters house in the countryside of East Yorkshire. Did a load of  pictures of her house with the stars in the background and a few star trails as well. Nice setting, I will return soon.

How dark the foreground is, is actually a nice contrast. Normally you see a almost daylight exposed foreground in these kinds of pictures, but I guess that is one of the benefits of a darksite too Nice!

Yeah, I considered trying to light up the trees but I think I prefer this silhouette style picture. I also like the way Cassiopeia has come out, the brightest trails above the tallest tree to the left.

Nice image- but looked a bit 'orangy' on my screen. I had a play with the colour balance to try and make the sky a bit more a neutral black and bring out the star colours. Hope you don't mind?
