DSS issues

I have just come back from a years break in astronomy and decided to take my first image last night, I have used DSS in the past with few problems

but this is the result I am getting from last nights shots.....can someone help me out here please?.....shouldn't I be getting a full screen image instead

of just a strip?

I am using 64 light frames and 30 darks.

You need to update your version of DSS to correct this. version 3.3.4 http://deepskystacker.free.fr/english/download.htm

ok getting some where.......now I have a 490 mb file but it's white, it opens fine in DSS but it's just a white image?

Hi. I think you have to remove the 3.3.2 alignment files -the ones with the .txt extension- and re-stack. HTH

I closed DSS then reopened and restacked.....all good now.
