Binocular Sky Newsletter, March 2017

Recommended Posts

The latest edition of the Binocular Sky Newsletter is ready. As well as the usual overview of DSOs, variable and double stars, this month we have:

   * A grazing lunar occultation of Porrima (SW England and Eire)
   * A dance of planets and comets in the evening sky
   * Comet 41P getting brighter

Please note that some of the charts are necessarily of low resolution, but clicking on them will take you to a higher resolution chart.

The lack of equipment review is indicative of the state of the my night sky for the last month!

To grab your (free!) copy, or to subscribe (also free) and receive it monthly, please go to http://binocularsky.com and click on the 'Newsletter' tab. Also useful for small telescopes.

Cheers Steve. I missed Feb's so must have a quick look retrospectively whilst I'm at it, just subscribed so I don't miss any in future (EDIT: I'll check it out when archived) :)

Now all I need is a clear night when I'm not at work, patience is a virtue apparently :grin:

haha that was quick, thanks :)

The files were already there; I'd just forgotten to update the archive page. For future ref, when (not if!) I forget again the files are at http://binocularsky.com/newsletter/archive/yyyymm.pdf

where yyyymm is the year and month (e.g. this month's is http://binocularsky.com/newsletter/archive/201703.pdf)
